Which mode should you use?
Remux changes the container without re-encoding, so it is fast and avoids quality loss. It keeps HEVC as HEVC. Choose Compatibility when Windows, a browser, editor, or upload service rejects the codec; this creates H.264/AAC MP4 and takes longer.
